    Warmongering 201 ???

I usually go to war right after my expansion phase. Once all my lands are settled, I build some spears in the border towns, while building a ton of swordsmen / warriors for upgrade. I usually turn science off, so I can get more money to rush / upgrade. I go to war so I can: -Extort for...

    Starting out on Regeant (lvl3)

Build up your army. A ton of Archers or swordsmen, if you're in the Ancient Ages. You can maybe turn science down a bit. Go to war with a nearby civ. Raze / capture their cities, depending on what you want. When you can go to peace with them, take all of their techs. This solves your 3...

Describe your civ 3 play style in terms of traits

Militaristic - I like to conquer my enemies. More land = specialist farms = faster science. Less enemies is always good. Plus it's nice to see all those other ugly colors off the map. Scientific - I like to get a lot of research. More research = better weapons. Better weapons = Kill the AI...

Post a picture of your empire

lol, I had about maybe 50 or so modern armor battles. only one died, and that was because it was yellow-lined or something like that... I'd be so angry if one of my modern armor armies died to a spearman. that would be total :spear:

It would take too much time to build up cities over on the other side of the continent. I was just lazy, and it took more like 5-10 turns. I had already won the game by that point, anyways. modern armor vs. muskets = lol.

Need ideas for a new game to play...

No military means that you have to rely on diplomacy often. here's two non-military games I found in the "Legendary Games" section: This is no military on emperor: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=43471 And no military on SID...

Monarch, Iros, continents 70%. Core: East / Central part of Empire. Conquered from Greece. turned into specialist farms. Northern part of Empire. Conquered from Byzantines. Also turned into specialist farms. North-west part. Also conquered from Byzantines, then later resettled...

    Tips on a Sid Game?

So I replayed Sid Vicious (it's in the legendary games section) from 4000 BC. Same opponents and same settings, except no barbs. Managed to capture the GLib and get into the Industrial Era, along with Persia, Scandinavia, and Rome. France is in the Modern Ages. Been building up a lot of troops...

    Bombing Missions

oops you're right. I meant to say Bombard Rate (or something like that)

    Bombing Missions

Bombers do sometimes fail. I think there's a 25% chance to fail, 25% chance to destroy city improvements, 25% chance to kill population, and 25% chance to hurt units. not sure though, probably wrong. That's why I use artillery though, since it'll always go after units first. Oh and BTW, i...

thanks. Tighter spacing, more workers, got it. I usually set production to worker right after I found a city - is that good or bad?

Sid Game I'm sure to lose .

So I started a sid game, i don't know why since I haven't even beaten emperor yet. I managed to get a good 4-turn settler factory going and grab some land, but I'm falling behind in techs (obviously). Need help on this game. :D I hope the attachment thing works.
