Describe your civ 3 play style in terms of traits

I'd have to be Industrious and Militaristic.

Industrious: My workers basically never stop working from 4000 BC until my whole continent is railed and, as a player, I'm willing to put some effort into winning.

Militaristic: My game is usually built around military conquest. For example, on a continents map, it's: (1) Conquer my region. (2) Conquer my continent. (3) Control the oceans. (4) Conquer the other continent.

militaristic and expansionist.

militaristic because the game to me is all about fighting.

expansionist because I have always had a habit of trying to squeeze settlers into every nook and cranny when ai civs free up space during wars.

Agricultural-Commercial
I like peace, i like to tend alot to my cities. I never make full on attack, i make small but strong armies with lots of artillery and airforce to take on the enemies with. Im not peaceful as such just dont overfil my plate mostly i guess because im mostly playn on a level higher to learn and trade alot to keep up

I'd probably be Expansionist and Scientific

Expansionist, because although 90% of my time is spent gearing up for war or actually at war, I generally only wage war for to expand my empire, and usually only if the odds are even or in my favour.

Scientific, because I'm a builder who always needs his latest fix of improvements, and his latest up-to-date military. Also, it can be because I'm constantly quitting games to go to the editor and improve upon the game itself :D

I guess I could also be Industrious...

Hmmm...I'm definitely Scientific; it kills me not to be in control of the tech race. And I'm either Industrious or Expansionist, because I love to have a fully improved map, and I love to scout out the map at the beginning of the game.

Militaristic - I like to conquer my enemies. More land = specialist farms = faster science. Less enemies is always good. Plus it's nice to see all those other ugly colors off the map.

Scientific - I like to get a lot of research. More research = better weapons. Better weapons = Kill the AI faster.

Basically, I go to war so I can improve my research, and I improve my research so I can go to war.

Alright, I'm starting to understand better what you mean. I thought you were asking for playing style. I'd have to say I'm Scientific and Industrius. Because, just my opinion, but I think you need to be ahead in techs and have more developed lands to win this game......or at least to make it easier to win.

On that note, has anyone won a game with science slider at 0 for the entire game and using no workers?

Agricultural and Seafaring would be it

Cultural isn't a trait either. You missed that :D
And I agree with Simak. I've seen more cities flip to me by espionage than by culture.
Cultural isn't a trait in the game, but I do claim to have a cultural trait myself, as a player. :p
It covers both religious and scientifical improvements. And wonders.

Militaristic and expanionist. Always looking to expand my borders. :D

So you're really Religious and Expansionistic then? ;)

So you're really Religious and Expansionistic then? ;)

I actually did consider expansionistic pretty seriously before posting what I did. Expansionist just doesn't seem to mean what I thought it would when I played my first couple of games.

(I'm afraid that I don't get the "religious" part.)

What trait best describes taking all day to play five turns?

Religious for sure, as in religious devotion to Civ. Not sure what the best second trait would be. Organized from Civ4 seems to fit perfectly, but of the Civ3 ones, that's a tough choice.

Industrial and Expansionist (So close to militaristic)

Industrial: Im a very big shield/military powerhouse, And I love tanks.. Modern tanks... and a panzer or two..

Expansionist: I worry about settling everywhere too much, And taking over land (See I put in militaristic too..)
