+1 for this. I honestly wouldn't mind if every "era" was it's own discrete minigame. I have found the anachronisms introduced by the cultural and science trees progressing out of sync ruins much of the experience for me.
I'd like to see different sizes and kinds of "cities". Like some are outposts that take up just one tile. Some are rural things like the fishing village, mining colony, and farming town districts in the civ lights (iirc) mod, with limited tile aoc.
Beyond that I would like to see more variety...
Resolved the art issue, seems like it was another mod having to do with extra military units. Got fixed as soon as I switched to JNR's military units mods. Since I see you're periodically working with stuff still I'm going to wishlist a couple of things:
1) The papua unique unit doesn't seem to...
Question: I was playing around with your various civs and ran into a flickering image bug. Are you running custom forest art on any of your polynesian civs?
Hi,
So I'm playing a multiplayer hot seat game and encountered a bug with wonders. Specifically the overlay that announces the completion of the wounder cannot be clicked away (the red/gold X does nothing. Ditto the blue replay(?) button. And now the game is frozen. Is there an option to turn...
Steam has blocked your link to the list of changes. Any chance you can fix whatever "malicious" code they found on your google doc or post the list of changes here?
Whelp, after getting fed up for how easily civic and technology research gets out of sync (once again) and the resulting anachronisms it causes I'm back to playing Civ 5 while waiting for Humankind to drop.
I'm hoping Civ 7 does the following things (or that Firaxis will make one more mega...
@Lemon_Merchant: Brilliant, thanks so much!
(And yeah, I love my mods. I honestly wish that there were more customization options out of the box for folks are playing Civ from a history sim point of view and want to edit the tech/civic trees and the stuff on them.)
Hi forumites. I'm hoping to get some tech suggestions so that I can build my perfect gaming PC for my Civ 6 experience. For now I'm opting not to post to the Civ 6 forum because this post is more about assembling a computer than Civ 6 per se.
That said, for efficiency in game experience I like...
I know there are a number of mods that try to address this issue however, they all have various issues and idiosyncracies. What I'd like to see from Firaxis during this new set of expansions is a fix that prevents the anachronism that occurs when my science research and civic research get too...
Steel & Thunder (both), Extended Tech Tree, Historical Religions, Historical Speed (extended eras), JFD's bundle of Rule with Faith mods, unique district icons, and Mappa Mundi are musts for me.
