you don't get warmonger penalties from the era before meeting AI's... the victims don't tell either...
what I mean... whatever you accumulate as negative warmonger penatly before you meet another new AI is not influencing diplomacy with the new AI.
that's what people who like civ V can't understand... making huge warmonger penalties basically means no diplomacy in the game...
I don't understand what was so wrong with civ IV diplomacy where friends stayed friends and the only backstabber was human... it's not like the AI has a chance on...
it would be actually very interesitng to find out what the world would look like in ren/ind era if you set those numbers to 0...but I guess AI won't understand that all those "sever" diplomatic penalties are now 0...
in mine domination game i finished today mine max was -255 warmongering penalty... after 7 declared wars and took around 20 cities :-)
warmonger penatly makes diplomacy completely irrelevant...again...
I am really surprise no one discusses it yet, because yet again we meet design with spawning units out of thin air.
So situation, I was declared war by germany on me, the war went okish, since i met my target capturing 2 cities and liberating 1 city state.
I suffered some hickup and got...
I have to say that what I heard in the video it heard much better then I anticipated.
I really liked that they kind of backed off on the graphics to more cleaner map that is more "readable" to strategize.
Removing global hapiness - great!
Not removing 1upt - not so great :-) I really...
are you really THAT surprised?
it's a try to go inbetween and I will grab some popcorn and watch how it turns out with the corps.
The other thing that really took my eyes is the "multitile" cities indicated, I suppose this will work differently then the usual settle spot, expand culture...
I can agree the price is a bit steep, but had to buy it today... so far didn't win a single game on assistant difficulty with 3 AIs against me...
they are so ruthless! and i like it.
the game has really simple mechanics, which make you think "I know it...easy peasy" and then the real time...
wasn't corporations game not so far back then? like 2-3 sgotm's ago? It wasn't said specifically which corporations, but you had to have 2 or 3 not sure now (it was the America one?)
from my experience I would say that none team will lose GLH if they really go for it...
the only wonder that I think is questionable is Oracle by PD, but TGW and Judaism was very late (relatively) so I think they should get it.
I think first ones who will buy clue are PD's again, it's...
the logic is quite easy...every barb unit that doesn't spawn is unit that doesn't need to be killed.
barbarians get tech based on random chance from players in game, so they eventually will spawn axemen etc and can be really dangerous. On immortal they have axes much sooner then for example...
well back in the past the standard was kinda something between 1024 and 1280 so the people at work could check and not cry...but not gonna force anything on you...
we take ...well basically anyting that can make the reading more colorful (and btw I am sure every team member appreciates...
SGOTM tend to be format where players are really invested on personal level... I quickly skimmed through last page to see the drama... kinda typical. I don't think it should mean the team not finishing the game.
