This is Napoleon v 0.71 scenario by AlazkanAssassin, that I modified a bit. This I will call version 1.00. This version comes with a new map scenario that adds the United States and the Barbary Coast as playable factions. The Barbary Coast is merged in with the Ottoman Civ, though it runs its own business, as a regent of the Ottoman empire, though I have not portrayed it as a vassal.
Both the US and the Barbary Coast have Unique units added. The US replaces the guard unit with the US marine. The Barbary Coast have a unit called Mamluk Rifleman, that replaces the Rifleman unit, as well as a Mamluk Horse unit that replaces the Guard Horse unit. I have also added a privateer, though it is not the same as the BTS privateers, but hopefully as close as I could get under the restrictions of Warlords, for instance I don't think is has a hidden nationality ability. They do have a 50% chance of a first strike, and are best used during wartime as the Americans used them anyway. The Barbary Coast have a xebec frigate I call a corsair, it is better than a privateer, in that it gets a first strike and can carry troops.
I have also added a merchantman ship that acts like a merchant, and can perform a discover and trade mission. I am not sure if the AI will use them, but playtesting will tell(which I have not started yet, I would love feedback, and we can discuss things in the original forum thread which I will give a link too). I have made them unavailable to move troops their speciality is trade, so Galleons will still be used for coastal invasions. The Line of Battleship has also been added and I would like to give credit too JustATourist for his excellent unit graphics work. The Line of Battleship is the best warship in the game. Larger and more powerful than a Ship of the Line.
I have changed some city names on the map as well, such as Thebes for Cairo, and I replaced Budapest with Vienna. Most of the mod is left in its original form out of respect for the author of the original mod AlazkanAssassin, and I credit him for a mod that is easy to learn and very fun to play. I will offer my assistance should he ever want to upgrade this mod to BTS. I also give credit to the unit creators of Civfanatics forums, in case I forgot anyone.

If any one has any ideas or suggestions on how we can make this mod better and more fun let me know.
This mod is compatible with Warlords v 2.08
Ok I will call this version 2.00 I had to delete the merchantman unit because I could not get the ai to use it. Nobobody in the forums, knows how to get a sea unit to do a trade mission, so my guess is that it cannot be done, although maybe with python or SDK. If I find a way to make the ai use the unit I will put it back in the mod.
changes to v.2.00
-I have added a war galleon that transports 4 units instead of 2, a regular galleon transports 2 units now.
-Because of the loss of the merchantman, I have reduced the distance cost modifiers so nations can make a few more bucks.
-I have made it possible to rush buy units with gold when nationhood is acquired.
-I reduced the attitude modifier between the Barbary Coast and the Ottoman Empire, so the Barbary Coast, may not so easily become a vassal of the Ottoman Empire.
