Have you heard the good word, responding to certain naysayers and a guest may have landed himself a rovering reporter position.

PolyCast is a bi-weekly audio production in an ongoing effort to give the Civ community an interactive voice on game strategy; sibling show ModCast focuses on Civ modding and RevCast focuses on Civilization: Revolution.

As always, enjoy.

Civ V is going to have some real major changes that's for sure and i think there is going to have a period of adjustment as well. I don't mind the hexes but it will take some getting used to.

I like the Graphics myself and unlike QNL I'd play it even if it still looked like it did in Civ II. Though I do find it funny that in this very forum there are two threads one exulting the graphic level and another berating it.

There's alot of information out there now, like the screen shot over Schafier? Where we see the foreign Advisor and a Settler unit. I guess that could just be a beta interface they have showing there and not the final product. Still it looked nice enough.

I enjoyed it very much. Good job. :goodjob:

Good episode as usual...but I couldn't help noticing that what with news about features and the game coming at such a rate as since this was recorded, it seemed really out of date.

Thank you kindly. :)

:D

The downside to episodes such as this is not only the inevitable delay through recording, post-production and release, but also that even after release they tend not to age well content-wise. The upside is that we're doing what we can, when we can, to stay topical even where being 'cutting edge' is impractical.

I just finished listening. A great episode. My first one in quite some time. you didn't disappoint!
:king: -- welcome back.
