The one-hundred-and-eighty-third episode of PolyCast, "Too Late, We've Said Everything", features regular co-hosts Daniel "DanQ" Quick, "Makahlua" and Philip "TheMeInTeam" Bellew with returning guest co-host Scott "AlphaShard" Dirk and first-time guest co-host "ekat2468". Carrying a runtime of 59m59s, the summary of topics is as follows:

- 01m24s | Forum Talk
First, not seeing eye-to-eye on updating the Espionage system in Civilization V to incorporate expansion Brave New World mechanics. Second, pushing back on the suggestion that constructing a Shrine is a greater build than a Monument (13m40s). Third, taking some points in -- and others to task -- on arguments made for calling some of the game's religious beliefs "useless" (19m51s). Fourth, an itemized list of ten changes needed in the upcoming fall patch for BNW (35m17s). Fifth and finally, views on an advocation for Civilization's developers to structure its victory measures on Settlers of Catan (50m18s).

- Intro/Outro | Miscellaneous
A deliciously distracting technical issue, daring to be distracted and to distract diligently.

Recording live before a listening audience every other Saturday, PolyCast is a bi-weekly audio production in an ongoing effort to give the Civ community an interactive voice on game strategy; listeners are encouraged to follow the show on Twitter, and check out the YouTube channel for caption capability. Is MadDjinn no longer a co-host? He didn't appear as a co-host and you said "Time to find a replacement," but I hadn't heard anything about him leaving until now :(

Was ekat trying to record voice with a shorted out Nintendo DS microphone? o.O
I'll let ekat field this question. :D

MadDjinn is still a regular co-host. My "time to find a replacement" comment was in reference to this episode specifically -- he was unexpectedly unavailable for this recording. The present PolyCast theme has him introducing himself alongside Maki, Phil and I: this reflects members of the regular panel for a given episode, including this one. :) When a regular co-host leaves the show, rest assured there is to be no ambiguity as such a departure is communicated specifically.

I'm going to apologize for my terrible audio quality. If their was time I would go back and record the episode. My audio quality has greatly improved since the recording of this episode, and If I were to show up on the show again, I would have good quality. The problem was my headset registers as two mics in windows, and one of them +36 DB audio boost on them. Fraps was able to handle this decently, so I assumed it wouldn't be a problem. Skype messed it up however. I don't think it is possible to express in this post how much I would like to re-record this episode (Dan, if you get feedback based on my audio quality on a site other than this one and 2k forums please link them to this post)

DanQ is my hero! Keep up this marvelous work for the Civ-community, my good old chap. :)
