0.9.5 released

That's a bug, copy/paste errors. Both will be fixed in the next version, which should be finished in a week or so.

Also, as of now Nazca Lines doesn't have any image or video when you build it. It's just a blank expanse of blue with the words "Nazca Lines". Personally, a picture is just fine. Love the graphic of it though. May I recommend a Brandenburg Gate wonder?:D nAlso, have you ever thought of replacing the current Masjid al-Haram graphics (Which are of the Dome of the Rock) with ones of the real one surrounding the Ka'ba?

Oh, I've been playing you mod for a while and I keep on running into a strange problem every once and a while.

I'm just playing the game and it says "FATAL ERROR". Next time it occurs i'll write down what it says and post it here.

It took us a while to figure this one out but it turns out that the Windows and Mac versions of Civ4 use completely different video formats, despite having the same XML references.

I need to include each new wonder's movie in both formats but so far I haven't found a way to convert .bik to .mov that doesn't cost money.

May I recommend a Brandenburg Gate wonder?:D

I'm pretty sure there is graphics for that out there somewhere. HR needs more later game wonders so this could indeed be a suitable candidate.

What effects do you imagine it having?

Also, have you ever thought of replacing the current Masjid al-Haram graphics (Which are of the Dome of the Rock) with ones of the real one surrounding the Ka'ba?

I'm sure someone must have made a model of that by now. I know there is an actual Ka'ba model around for sure though. I'll add it to my todo list.

I guess the Dome of the Rock could then become a world wonder if we can think of an interesting effect for it.

I see the point about Nazca Lines, to bad. But to your other point I have an idea about the Gate. So, you could make the Great Wall's +100% Great general emergence and No barbarians entering borders expire at Explosives, as in reality it's defensive capabilities would later become useless, and it certainly didn't keep out barbarians in the Industrial Era:D (Taiping and Boxer Rebellions). You could also make it provide gold after it goes obsolete to represent profits from tourism (If that's possible). You could then give the Brandenburg Gate it's respectable bonus

This is my idea

Brandenburg Gate
Unlocks at Nationalism
Cost: 1100 Hammers (+50% Faster Production with Stone)
+8 Culture
+2 Great Artist Points
+100% Great General Emergence Inside Borders or 2 Free Great Generals

Heres the link for some Brandenburg Gate Graphics:

Oh, here's some ideas for the Dome of the Rock

Dome of the Rock
Unlocks at Dogma
Cost: 775 Hammers
+10 Culture
+2 Great Prophet Points
-50% War Weariness

Anyway, if you want any more wonder ideas I have plenty (Big Ben, Burj Khalifa). Also, I know I'm asking quite a bit but it would be advisable to rename the Kremlin to Saint Basil's Cathedral, it a similar story to the Masjid al-Haram mixup.

Also, I have a question for you. Why are the Turks referred to as the "Turkic Empire"? All of the leaders were leaders of the states that would lead to modern Turkey (Alp Arslan of the Seijuk Empire also controlled Turkey). Also, their short name "Turkestan" only refers to modern day Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, etc. Just wondering.

Yeah I think something along these lines is the way to go. I'll have an experiment and try get it in for the next version (due soon). Dome of the Rock/Masjid al-Haram/Ka'ba is going to require a bit more thought and tinkering so I'll leave that for a later version.

Anyway, if you want any more wonder ideas I have plenty (Big Ben, Burj Khalifa).

Yep, share your ideas, especially if you have effects in mind for them and have seen the art somewhere.

Good call, I've been meaning to do something about that for a long time.

I want the civilization to represent the Turkic peoples from their earliest period of urbanization through the Medieval Empires, the Ottomans, to all the modern Turkic states, of which Turkey is only one. The citylist has not yet been changed to represent this. 'Turkestan' is a much more representative name overall and was used historically for a much broader area than in modern times.

I see, thanks for the Turkestan explanation:). Here's some more ideas for you:D.

Burj Khalifa
Unlocks at Globalization
Cost: 1675 Hammers

Sorry I couldn't get this more organized but you should find Burj Khalifa about halfway through the page

I've put the Porcelain Tower into the next version already :) Also coming are the Colosseum and the Brandenburg Gate. The Burj Kalifa certainly needs to be added at some point but I'm not as sure on the other two. There are already so many European wonders.

I've seen the new wonders (Though I haven't been able to play your mod yet:(:() Great Job! I'm glad to see my Brandenburg Gate idea came through with flying colors. It's nice to have some contributions to such an excellent mod. However, I see a general lack of Asian wonders in this mod. I had an idea that you could make the Terracota Army from China's unique wonder to a World Wonder. It would give Great Prophet Points and would provide +2 Happiness in all cities and +50% Great Person Generation in the city in which it is built. You could then make the current Seasonal Palace wonder graphics into a ne Chinese Unique Wonder "The Forbidden Palace".

Here's my idea for the Wonder

Terracotta Army
Cost: 450 Hammers
Unlocks at Employment
Requires: Cemetery
+10 Culture
+2 Great Prophet Points
+2 Happiness in all cities
+50% Great Person Points

As you said there are alot of European Wonders, and not as many Asian or Middle Eastern wonders, so here's some more ideas

The Red Fort
Cost: 600 Hammers
Unlocks at Artisanry
+8 Culture
+2 Great Merchant Points
+1 Gold for every citizen in this city

I can't find graphics, but I'm relatively sure that in RFC: DOC they have a Red Fort Wonder, so perhaps we could find graphics there?

I was thinking, in the overall world Broadway is somewhat famous, but the Sydney Opera House is far more so. So I was thinking we could replace Broadway with the Sydney Opera House, as thus far all of the "entertainment" wonders are American.

Sydney Opera House
Cost: 1500 Hammers
Unlocks at Photography
Requires: City must be built on coast
+8 Culture
+2 Great Artist Points
+50 Culture
Provides Hit Musicals
