[1.0.1] Isabella 300 Gold Bug

Isabella's UA says you get 300 gold when you "discover" a natural wonder.

I discovered a wonder on turn 1 and got the 300 gold. I did not get 300 gold from the next two natural wonders I found.

So the ability is either bugged, or the ability description is too vague and should say you need to discover the wonder first.

Okay thanks for the info. I'm not the only person reporting this here.

The UA is completely trashed my game though. There isn't a natural wonder in the entire new world area (I have every hex uncovered). That might be a seperate bug report later.

I dont' have the save file from pre complete world discovery, so I"ll have to reproduce it in another game.

So I do not have a save for a game where you discover a wonder on turn 2. (I'm not going to reroll through infinite map scripts for that) But in my game I did recieve 300 gold for it.

Every other wonder I've discovered as Isabella though I have received no gold. Here's a save file to replicate this.
I have ~500 gold. Move the injured active mayan scout 1 tile west. You will discover a natural wonder. You get no gold.



I believe the game is only counting wonders you discover first.

As stated in the title, Isabella's ability seems bugged—her bonus Gold from Natural Wonders only applies if you're the first to discover them.

If this is intentional, then the description is misleading, and the ability itself would still be completely useless. Even if you're lucky, you might discover only one or two Natural Wonders early in the game. Moreover, this mechanic completely undermines the main purpose of the ability: exploration.

What’s the incentive to keep exploring after the first few turns? If you haven’t found a Natural Wonder yet, it likely means it's near another civilization that has already discovered it before you. Additionally, the idea of receiving double Gold for Natural Wonders in distant lands makes no sense—how could foreign civilizations not have found them before you?

I hope this is "just" a bug and not a problem in the descprition of the ability.
