Ok, I'm an idiot. I should have put this in the '1.29f Discussion' thread. Anyway, I just wanted to point out that I did try importing the 1.21f bic version of my game in to the 1.29f editor and then saving it again, but that didn't work either.

I just downloaded and installed the latest patch for Civ3 [1.29f], released today I believe, and it took me less than ten minutes to get thoroughly ticked off at it. And it's probably my fault, too, but I'm hoping it's not.

Anyway, after I installed the patch, I decided to start a new game (as I had just conquered the world again, and was bored), so I opened up a scenario (made with version 1.21f) in the official editor to do some last-minute tweaking. Everything went well, I saved the scenario, started up the game, and clicked the 'Load Scenario' button and selected the .bic file to open. Much to my dismay, Civ came back with the error: "Could not load scenario. File may be corrupt!"
I wasn't quite convinced, so I tried loading the [unedited] civ3mod.bic, with the same results. I also tried three other .bic files, all got the same error.

Any ideas? I'm bored and wanna conquer!
