Let me just start out by saying, I LOVE THIS GAME. As soon as i installed it i played it for many hours. So today (i got the game yesterday as a gift) i decided to look for the newest version. I found version 1.74 and i quickly downloaded it and installed it. After it was done i launched the game as usual. I began to start a new game when i noticed some of the nation' leaders had some graphic issues in their wardrobe. And they didnt have their little portraits on the right side either. I then thought to myself i can live with this. When i started the game, Some of the terrain around me have gone purple. And even some commands in the action bar thingy have gone purple. The game ran perfect when it was version 1.0 now it just has all these graphic issues. Sorry for the long story but, any help?

try updating directx:
