It seems to me that 10 ambitions is much easier to achieve than 91 victory points.

Did anyone win by getting 91 victory points before you won by 10 ambitions?
Seems like you need a massive empire for 91 victory points.
Maybe increase the number of ambitions to 12 or 15 would be nice to make the game abit longer.

Not on OCC :D

Otherwise, yeah, but maybe it depends on the difficulty level. I personnally win DV before ambitions, so maybe I'm playing too easy for my level, idk.

An option for ambition count to scale with map size could be interesting. Problem is, they might not have enough ambitions to make it work (without reusing across games constantly, or forcing you into weird ones that don't make sense).

The number of victory points required varies by map, even in the same size map, FYI.

I generally win by double victory, after conquering enough neighboring cities to drive their points down and mine up. Usually I’m at about 8 or 9 ambitions when that happens. But I also tend to focus on religion, culture, and general city building in between conquering tribes (up to ~turn 50) and a late game military push (turn 100-130ish).

I think it scales according to size and possibly level. My current game on "The Good" level, large map, I only need to get to 72 points for a win. And I am juuuuust about there.
