2 Civ4 1.51 patch problems...

Hello,

When I installed the Civ4 patch, 2 things happened that I cannot figure out how to change.

Every one of my games start with a 10 turn time limit, even after removing the time victory condition.

Also, and more importantly, I cannot see any land improvements (irrigation, mine, etc) no matter what resolution I have the game set to or what view type I toggle.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, it did not have an effect.

Any information would be a great help. Thanks!

The 10 turn limit is because (the game thinks) you are using an illegal hack.

Why 1.51? The current patch is 1.61.

Moderator Action: As alan said:

Buy the retail version of the game. That will solve the 10-turn limit problem.
