2 player game

I was wondering if it is possible to link up two laptops and play civ against eachother. If so, what hardware do I need? Thanks

You just need to set up a network between them. If they are physically in the same place and both have ethernet ports, an ethernet cable should link them fine. Then you have to set your software to recognize the LAN you have created. After that just use the LAN option in the game. Of course, both computers need to be running CIV.
