2K games online policy, agreement & terms screen locked

I pre-purchased Civ 6 & have been playing without issue since the game release. Played the game yesterday. Today (8.11.16) when I start the game I get the 2K logo then the Firaxis logo screens then I get a new window headed "2K games online policy, agreement & terms". I click to accept the terms but the game is LOCKED on that screen & I cannot load any saved games or start a new game. Is anyone else having this problem? Has steam just done a crazy update?

Yea can not get the online policies to go away. I already agreed to the policy to download the game. Now is blocking me from starting the game up again.

It says 2013 right? I just clicked deny to all on that one. It let me through after that

Yep! Same here. Woooow. This is an impressive level of fail. Thankfully, it's past midnight here, so it better be fixed and gone tomorrow morning

Just disagree with the pop-up and you can play again. Still it is odd for that to happen a few weeks after release.
