3 spies vs. spy ring

Usually playing with Russians is a pleasure if you reach the modern era. Fast production of spies is way to powerful. So I usually attack with 2 Spies ring and at least 8-10 single spies. As many of you are mentioned, the key is use the ring just to attack the defending spy, then leave quietly. After that the Spies madness begins. First stealing GP, then stealing gold, if I know that this player is in good shape for a economic victory. If you are lucky, and it happened to me, I was able to steal 3000 gold with spies, then use the rest for disrupt defenses and GG.
Spies are way to powerful to not use them as soon as you can.
