I'm in the process of making a 3D animated model of a leader and I'd like to know how to get it into Civ IV?
It appears that the official leaders that come with Civ IV, Ghandi for example, are rendered in realtime 3D. They seem to run through a bunch of idle animations that are blended seemlessly together and when triggered (for example asking a leader what he thinks of another leader) will play other simple animations, like making an angry gesture.
The model is almost finished and soon I'll be texturing it and rigging it for animation and what not, but I have no idea what the process of implementing the character and it's different animation sets into the Civ IV engine would be. Any help is greatly appreciated.
