Is this what I'm supposed to see when I try to save a unit art file to a scenario file?

I have Windows 7 with the following pathway (and a sample of what appears):

C>Program Files(x86)>Steam>steamapps>common>Sid Meier's Civilization III Complete>Conquests>Scenarios>WW2 Pacific...

So, when I open my edited "WW II in the Pacific" folder, this is what I see:

€áþàJ9 Є™BL™2n@)3†móʐ ...etc., etc., etc.

Do I go ahead and save the art file (imperial marine) and expect it to fit in with this stuff?

Where exactly do you see "„$‚ÅJ)# šÀ¾fÍ{_
€áþàJ9 Є™BL™2n@)3†móÊ"? Can you take a screenshot of where you're seeing this? Is this actually in the editor, or is this in Windows Explorer?

I'm not sure quite what's going on, but I'm fairly sure this is not what you're supposed to be seeing wherever you're seeing it. We just have to figure out why you're seeing it in the first place.
