I've just completed these two additional buildings for my mod. (I'll be releasing the next version once I've done a bit more play-testing, BTW.)

Customs Post:
This facility reduces corruption in the city where built, requires a harbor, and becomes available with the Republic. Build Cost is 50 shields.
The rationale behind this inprovement is that while port cities tend to be strategiacally improtant, they also tend (for the most part, at least) to be out toward the edges of your empire, and thus more subject to corruption. This is especially true for far-flung island outposts. Cities that are vital to national security need all the latest defensive upgrades, but it's very difficult (and expensive) to get them built in a timely manner when the city in question is totally corrupt. This improvement addresses that issue.

Federal Tax Bureau:
This small wonder acts as a third capitol, provides +1 commerce in any square that already produces 1. (Like the Colossus), generates 3 culture/turn, costs 3 gold/turn in maintenance, and becomes available with Democracy. Build Cost is 300: 50% more than the Forbidden Palace.
The idea here was to give players a way to have a larger empire without so much corruption. You need something like this in those long PBEM games on huge maps. I used a shot of Abe Lincoln from the Lincoln Memorial for the wonder splash because he was the first president to institute an income tax.

(civilopedia and PediaIcons text is included in the ZIP.)

As a traditionalist, I'm a little against symbolic pedia icons, but what the heck. Into the library they went. :)

Well, since I'm not doing an overhead city view on these (from what I've read here, those are more-or-less hard-coded, right?), I didn't feel it was as big a deal. I just couldn't think of anything that was distinctive for the Federal Tax Bureau. I mean, how much more anonymous can you get than a government office building?
