5th BNW game..new problem

This is new for me. I've just gotten compass with 4 coastal cities playing Egypt. I've gotten both a caravan and a cargo ship and am fairly close to a few city states.. yet when I bring up the create trade route on both of them, I get no options. I'm within 30 hexes from them and yet it still wont list any, even my own cities .

Is this a new glitch or am I doing something wrong?

thanks in advance if anyone can help .. hard to stay afloat money wise if I can't get my trade routes flowing..

There definitely are mods out there that are breaking trade routes completely. So you should disable all of them to verify it is a mods problem and then, well, try them one by on to find out which it is (or half of them to nail it down more quickly). I'm thinking Information era duel starts might allow quickest verification of this. Or well, maybe someone else already knows which mods it might be

I am not sure as to the reason for the problem, but when I logged back in, the problem went away and my routes are active... thanks for the help

Ah,the binary search algorithm. this is a huge timesaver on large lists of mods. can't believe I always forgot this technique whenever I'm bugfixing my mods. and to think that I once learnt this and many other algorithms in college!
