A couple exploits/bugs

In my last game on swashbuckler, I noticed a couple of exploits that made it really easy to get 126 fame and lots of money.

I started the game as Spain, and managed to conquer all the cities for Spain. As a result, I realized that I couldn't get promotions with other naitions. So I went to St. Augustine, a city that had only 80 soldiers, and conquered it for England. I kept reconquering it for every nation until I was a duke in all of them.

An added bonus of this was that the daughter was beautiful, so when I made her very happy in a dance she would give me the map of the lost city. I quickly found all the maps.

Also, when I went to deliver immigrants from a missionary, I would be fighting the only British ships on the entire map(because I had conquered the world). Combined, the three ships that appeared would be carrying about 40,000 gold. I could do this with every missionary or settlement that I passed.

Has anyone else been able to accomplish this in their games?(my game is unpatched)

I alcomplished 97 fame every item in the game and 505,094 gold with a Beatiful Spanish wife and a Beatiful Ship of the line.

I got 110 fame with every item, every exploit and a beatiful dutch wife, along with a fully upgraded royal sloop-I think on rogue

Yup, that much is obvious. The bug of reconquerable cities was patched in 1.0.1 and the patch was improved in 1.0.2.

With the latest version, it is not possible to cheat in the manner that you describe.

 

[Swiss Bezerker]

Acorrding to an walkthrew i read a player conquered an entire nation. He defeated one of there ships and it contained negetive gold. No kidding. It made his gold total decrease.

negative gold happens occasionally, but it is quite rare.
