Dear Newbs,
It looks like it is about that time for the 3rd coming of the terror known as MrGameTheory.
As much as I will enjoy easily discovering all of the strategic loopholes in Civ V, I believe it is only fair for us to take a moment of silence to honor of all of those newb programmers who have worked so hard to make Civ V a balanced game.
They work so hard to make the experience enjoyable, and it makes me sad to know that within days of the games release, or perhaps before the games release, I will take all that hard work and prove most of it meaningless.
The first question is.... where will they slip up?? What will they overlook? Will the roman's road building special unit prove to imbalance the entire game or will some other unit prove game changing. Will the addition of 2 movement units or City health prove disastrous when manipulated by a specific strategy??
Surly the team that approved the Vanilla Civ IV India, or the Civ Rev Romans will undoubtedly goof and make one civ or strategy far too powerful... And we all know that it will take several months to years for the game to be patched...
I guess all I can say is the race has begun and I look forward to continue my reign as the #1 ranked Civ player in the world.
