I remember that in Civ Revolution, the first civilization to find a certain area would get to name it. I would love to see something like that in Civ 5, I thought it was an interesting touch!

I'm not familiar with this feature. Could someone please explain it a little? It does sound kind of nice.

Basically, areas of land (mountain ranges, oceans, deserts and other such distinct areas) are named. It doesn't really do anything apart from flavor.

Cool, thanks. I love this kind of flavor. Did the AI ever use it (I'm guessing not)?

Oh my gosh... I was JUST thinking about this the other day. It lends so much, as Vaino said, "flavor," to the game. Especially if you enjoy immersing yourself in the world. I have everything named in my head just for fun, but it'd be a lot of fun to actually see the names on the map, whether pinned to it, or perhaps only accessible via strategic view, or better yet just a tool tip. You can have your "Crossing the Rubicon" moment and... ok, I just got a little too excited. End rant.

Exactly, Zaldrizes! I'll write more about this tomorrow, but it's past midnight for me and I'm tired.

To add to this suggestion... I would like to be able to name Monuments, Ampitheaters, Opera Houses, Museums, Airports, and Universities after expended Great People. Ex. Mark Twain Airport or James Watt Ampitheater. In the case of the Monuments, you may postpone naming them.

GP improvements could have their creators' name. That would be fun.

Naming Great Generals!! I'm sorry, but it just bugs me when I'm Rome and my GG is Cortes. Or when I'm Arabia and my GG is Scipio. It just throws me off. When I see Ivan the Terrible on my doorstep with some Turtle Ships, I'm like "What the ...." Not complainin' though. It'd just be cooler!
