I have recently joined the CivFanatics forum as a member, although i have been around for as long as i have played civilization, and by going around I mean reading threads and downloading mods.
I came across this very well know Civilization V mod , called a Mod of Ice and Fire which is basically an adaptation of the story and lore of the book series " A Song of Ice and Fire" and the TV adaptation "Game of Thrones" into the game, which works quite well since both the TV show and the books are mostly about political drama and warring.
The mod is quite well executed, even including new units fully animated and i enjoyed for quite a few hours of gameplay.
I was disappointed though when i realized there were no scenarios in the mod. I think a lot of people that really like the books value the lore very much and even the arbitrary positions cities end up annoys them.
Well i thought i could work on a scenario Mod preferably using the MOIAF as a matrix (under the assumption we will be authorized by the mod authors to do so, of course), to make some cool scenarios shown in the books storyline like the War of the Five Kings or from something from the past like Robert's Rebellion.
If such a think already exists please say so, i have been searching and couldn't find anything.
Leave your opinion about it please, and if you know a lot of SOIAF lore or have some experience on Civilization V modding i would be very pleased to work with you.
