Do you forsee future Firaxis made scenarios and community made full game mods (think Anno Domini Mod) having multiple ages?

I hope so. I think said scenarios and mods could really take advantage of the ages system to create very unique and focused legacy paths/goals that can really pull a player into the creators vision.

What scenarios/mods with multiple ages do you hope to see?

Off the top of my head:

A medieval europe scenario
consisting of the Early, High and Late middle ages

A Rome scenario consisting of the Roman Republic era, Western Roman Empire era (cannot change capitals) and Eastern Roman Empire era (third age begins with forced capital change).

I feel like they'll hold off releasing mod tools for awhile, as the earliest larger scale mods - after the obvious UI ones, would probably be focused removing eras and creating a complete, connected tech tree - which would not be a good look if these proved super popular.

If that doesn't prove possible, I could see there being a modding focus on removing all soft reset features associated with eras, and instead, focusing on improving the AI so the reset isn't required as a bandaid fix for snowballing the AI.

A Middle Earth mod could make good use of the Age system. Go Dorthonion->Numenor->Gondor as Beren. Or be ahistorical and go Doriath->Khazad-dum->Dorwinion as Sam Gamgee.

Soft reset mods would be nice, especially for scenarios. Fantasy and sci fi mods are always a blast, and a lord of the rings mod would be most welcome.

I would like a middle ages mod that has transitions that make sense (Francia -> Franks/Provence/Normandy -> France/Burgundy for example) and I expect it to be easy to define what civs you can transition to via a mod, but I am curious about how leaders will work...can they be modded to only lead certain civs? Will there be a way to mod it so you choose your starting civ before your leader (say Francia) so that it defines what leaders are available (give you a choice of different leaders associated with that civ path...Charlemagne, Joan of Arc, King Phillip, etc)? Questions that we won't know the answers to for some time I expect.
