a problem about changing music directory

there is an option to change the music that will be played during gameplay (options=>other, at the bottom). when I change the folder (before loading a game), I got a message "file not found" when the game is loaded.
when I change it during playing, I just don't get any music.

I did check, I the extensions are the same extensions like the original soundtracks (.mp3), and I have also tried to put it in the same folder like the original soundtracks.

what can I do to convince my pc to play another music?

disable audio in civ and play winamp in the background..

that's an option... but my pc is not so strong, and the hame is already lagging, so I really prefer not to run other programs as well

i think you have to go into the audio tab not the gameplay tab and then click on browse all the way towards the bottom then just click on which file your mp3's are at and youre good to go.

that's what I did (my mistake, it's audio tab), but it doesn't work
