During the days of the pirates. A ship sighted by pirates or privateers, would be boarded and captured right? The crew of that ship would be displaced to the sea, the valuables and other loot on the ship would be taken to the pirate ship. Then the ship would be burned. Well, let me get to the point, how do you make it that if you defeat another ship with a privateer, you get gold for it? In other words your privateer sinks a galleon and you receive 10-100 gold for instance. Is there a way to do this? I think when I played civ 3 ages ago, there was a treasure chest that could be carried by ships and when you returned it to your port your civ would collect the money it contained, something to that effect.

The other question I have is, how do I make it so if my frigate say, beats an enemy ship in a fight. How do I make it so I have a chance of capturing the enemy ship? I know in the Mod Napoleon 0.71 for warlords you can do this? I just don't know where I would write it in the game, so I can add it to my mod.

Also is there any decent Spanish ships that can be used for the Spanish Armada? I here there are alot of ships that need their files fixed, something to do with kfm files in a thread I was reading.

Thanks for any help and feedback

Yes but isn't there a simpler way in unitinfos.xml or something. so if my privateer sinks a ship it gets a reward of gold
