Hi, I'm new here on the CFC forums, and was wondering if there is a way to increase the amount of resources in a game?

Only by making your own maps and adding them or changing the percentage of appearence and saving the new biq.

Depends on what kind of resources.
* Bonus resources: Easy.
* Strategic resources: Well, can be done.
* Luxury resources: Pretty difficult.

You'll find more about that - maybe a tutorial on the creation & customization forum.

If you change the appearance ratio, you'll get more (or less) ressource / civ.
