Hey guys. I was thinking about downloading the DLC today but I'm curious if steam is safe to make purchases on. I bought the game at the store so I didn't have to put any card information in that time. I'm just new to steam and don't know if i should.

Steam is excellent. You can set it to keep your details so that buying DLC in the future is really easy, just a few clicks.
It's safe too - if it detects you logging on a different computer to usual, it'll email you a code that you have to input.
It's also nice to be able to use the shift+tab web browser rather than trying to alt+tab out on a slower machine.

Alright awesome. I look forward to trying out Babylon and mixing them with that GS generator that I saw on a youtube video. :) how are the other DLC civs?

Babylon are awesome, and the Incans are unstoppable in the right hands. Spain are great fun and lead to a different play through than others, as do the Mongolians. Polynesia are also fab. In fact, all the DLC civs are great :D

Mongols are free (if you don't have them). Polynesia is lots of fun, as is Babylon. The Inca seem quite nice. I haven't played the Danes yet, but I enjoy the scenario. The production values for all of them are quite good.

Anyway, Babylon is a nice start. Spain and Inca have the best value. If you're patient, buy one now and wait for another Steam sale (they have sporadic 40% off sales) to get the rest.
