a small, but accurate map of the earth?

i, too, have an older, slower computer. also, i don't like that the aircraft have such a ridiculously short range on the larger maps.

so, is there a SMALL, but still relatively accurate and playable map of the earth out there somewhere?

if a map of earth is small it probably wont be accurate.

Have a look in the Map forum. Can't say I know of one, but then again I don't user user-created maps (just the GOTM).

Use the regular world map that comes with Civ3, and just use the editor to double aircraft range/modern era ships.
