A few days ago I installed Opera, and I was poking around in the menus and accidentally removed the menu bar at the top of the screen. Would any of the Opera users here know how to bring back the menu bar?

Maybe you went into fullscreen mode? If you did, hit the F11 key to toggle back to regular mode. If I've misunderstood, maybe you have the View menu visible and need to use View->Toolbars or View->Panel to return it to the way you want.

Try right-clicking in the remaining bar (with the forward, reverse, stop etc. buttons) and choose restore menu bar. Maybe it helps... (I hope it helps!)

I did that, but couldn't find that option (I'm using a slightly older version of Opera, 7.23 if I remember correctly), and it may not be in that version. After digging through config files a bit, though I found an option in opera.ini that fixed it, so I have the menu bar back now.
