A stability guide please?

Hello. I have been playing Sword of Islam lately, but I don't get the stability factors, especially Economy, Cities, and Expansion. I spend most of my games in the Unstable and Collapsing stages, building temples and courthouses and avoiding expanding more than necessary to keep myself stable.

Does anyone have a full guide on stability?
