Civ5 game keeps its screenshots in .tga format. If one tries to upload a screenshot, it appears that this format is not supported by this site.
What is the simplest way to upload a picture of screenshot to this forum? How do you people do it?

I use ImageMagick. Because who can resist a command called "mogrify" to convert from one image format (such as tga) to another (such as png)?

Instead of hitting "print screen" which takes it in .tif, use the steam overlay's print screen functionality instead (hotkey is F12), which will be in the standard .jpg format.

I used the most roundabout way possible: Print Screen -> Paste to MS Paint -> Resize to 1400 -> Save as jpg

I know another roundabout method: open CiV in window mode and use the snipping tool :crazyeye:

That was a really precious advice.
