I have a galleas unit and my civilopedia info will not show up. This unit has worked before, but I had to re-download my game because of a problem with my in game points display. I can build the unit with the world builder. and it has the right sails, but the hull is purple, in-game there is no civilopedia info, I click on the unit in the civil pedia it shows the button pic and everything else is blank. How do I get it to read my xml information? I must be missing something not sure what all my other units work except for this one. Thanks for any help

not sure about the hull color. Perhaps it is grabbing the player color for some reason?
if the civlopedia shows the button correct, but not the civlopedia description, theres obviously a problem there. Most if not all of the civlopedia entries are stored in some text.xml file, that is relative to your mod. Its in the XML/text folder. Try changing the tag to the same as galley and see if it works.

Yes, your exactly right and thats what I did. I had it working right after I wrote the thread. Thanks for your help. Soon I am going to start working on a mod. I think I am going to start at the beginning of the Age of Ironclads. The first launched was La Gloire of France, in 1859. So from 1859-1945, I may do this in stages it will take much research. I may start right after the Civil War, still I have a lot of thinking to do, and alot to learn about modding. Thanks again
