I hope the developers brings 1 or 2 new unique solo victory wincons, like religion or something new, but I have to admit its hard to invent just like that this wincons.
However I want an overall wincon for the general play, still very different from the 2050 end score and its not really that difficult to implement.
Instead for going to a solo victory or activate all and whoever wins that wins the game, I want a sysyem in wich players goes for all wincons as targets and try to play a fairly balanced game.
The system will still be with points but points awarded depending how you did on that wincon/target. For example you win space race you get lets say 10 points, second place gets 6 or 7 points. The gap between first and second should be slight larger then second and third, but not very large. This way you still want to get 2th or 3th in wincons to get those points. Some of the system points are fixed like space race or a cultural race in the renaincence or greatest empire (teritory) in empirialistic age first leader on UN to be awarded some points,etc,...meaning first gets that points, 2th that and they will remain till the end.
However others like late cultural(turism), domination, overall science, overall diplomatic system, maybe a religion system, all in the late game should be live changeble.....meaning you loose teritory you can go from 1th to 2th, if you start wars you loose points at the diplomatic system, gain up culturally you can go from 3th to 2th, etc. Alliances, ecomical(cold wars), and conventional Wars will happen also because of this.
The first to get for example 30 points wins the game or when the gap between 1th and 2th is large enough. All this should be customizable and award how many points to win overall or for the gap between the first 2 and for each wincons how many points 1th, 2th, etc How many should win for the first voted leader of UN, etc.
This idea would offer much strategy especially at the end of the game, attack wich nations, how to attack/provoke, build up more cultural, etc and is much much better then the 2050 old wincon. With this the game can end sooner then 2050 or later. With this idea you still push for particular wincons you like, but not to neglect the others and keep an eye on nations who are higher then you in the rest of the wincons and have to decide what to do in order to win the overall game.
