A Way to make Signs?

In Civ4 there was a way to make signs with ALT+S, has anyone found a similar function in Civ5?

There is none. One of the things that was, ah, "streamlined".

i miss this as well. there are a lot of things about this game that are seriously disappointing, and that's pretty high on the list. the empire doesn't really /feel/ like an empire without parts named. instead it's just blank landscape every time you play, rather boring.

It amazes how much they stripped out of Civ5.
