Hi all,
I'm a long time Civilization gamer since version 1 and a lurker to this website but a new poster to the forum.
In the past 6 months I have started playing Civ 5 at King level and I like to keep most of the setup start game options as random.
However it seems about every 2nd game or so that I start, Montezuma is nearby and always declares a war with me quite early in the game. and I reckon the number of jaguar units he has is ridiculous for so early in the game.
I find it really annoying that in my random games, he seems to appear more often than a lot of other civs. e.g. I haven't come across Greece or England in a random game for many months. But I get Montezuma about every 2nd game and it's getting to be a drag.
Is there any way, via a mod or whatever, that you can select random civs at the setup screen but have Aztecs disabled so they cannot be selected by the computer? I know I can turn off the DLC civs I bought, but i'd like a similar option to disable the Aztecs.
Of course, the other option is to play the Aztecs myself but I don't wanna do that every game.
It's getting to the stage where if Montezuma is in a game nearby and declares war, i'll just quick and start another game. I'm tired of his "shimmy ka kaan!".
