Civ 5 plays different after changing computer

Hi all,

Don't usually post but I can't find any solutions online.

My game is running different, the game switches much faster between cities and the camera feels choppy. City view has no background noise and the game is just noticeably different.
Another issue is unit animations, they run to their target much faster compared to gameplay I can see online.
I've switched between all launch versions but still have the same issue. No clue what has changed since getting a new computer.

Any solutions or potential changes I can make would be appreciated.

I assume you've checked the Video and Sound settings? There are adjustments that can be made in there. And Quick Unit movement is a setting under Interface I believe? Not at my Civ computer so can't remember exactly.

Yea I checked all the video settings out. I use vox populi so I figure that could have changed my files somehow.
reinstalling didn't fix it either.

I'm learning to just play with the new way it feels, only thing that really bugs me is the lack of city ambience. I never noticed how much it adds hearing citizens talking and busy streets.
