AbNES: Tribes

I want to mod a tribal NES which will eventually lead to a fresh start NES.

In essence this will be a cradle within the eventual cradle.


What is important within a tribe?

Population? Food? Weapons? Use your brains, surprise me, and you with thrive!

You start off as a tiny tiny tribe.. a extended family really. 5 men, 5 women. all 20 years old. Turn length is 50 years.

You give me orders for your little tribe. What you what them to do over the next 50 years.

Can I get the scale for that map? It looks more like a lake rather than a sea.

Also about orders...should they be as simple as "focus on population" or any elaborative actions that result in [INSERT GAIN/LOSS HERE]?

Eg.

5 women pop babies out, collect water daily, attempt crop growing
1 man harvest wood
3 men hunt
1 man look in river for sharp rocks, supply hunters/women with them, defend village.

Oh my. If it's not too late, can I change my position to be closer to the northern stream? And, are those mountains there impassable? (my people can't take water unless they go around them to the north?)

The GREY mountains in the background are impassible. For THIS stage of the NES, the map will not expand.
