Account sync after playing offline?

I chose to play a game offline, so I know I'm not getting any achievements from leader or foundation trees.

My question is, once I go online, and my 2K account is connected, will my achievements sync?

The game doesn't even load up in offline mode. This is unfortunate. Always online DRM.

The website is a lie. Its not just my computer.

Maybe they will bring offline play to Civ 7 but we probably have to demand it.

If you configure Steam to be offline, then any game you play will be offline.

I also noticed that when I was playing offline in game, all of my previous achievements were reset to 0.

Found out after contacting 2K that while it can be done, it has to be from their end, not something I can do at will.
