There is plenty of room for it! It would also make it conform to all of the other ambitions that keep track of your progress.

Last I played, I also found Cognomen progress could use a little help in explanation. I had my answers in the forum, but ingame would be awesome. At the time I played, I was thinking it could be solved just with a more complete explanation in the pedia though.

Yeah, the encyclopedia tells you what you need to get a specific cognomen, like kill X units and capture X cities, but there is no in-game progress meter/score until you actually get the cognomen, which is kind of useless at that point since you already have the cognomen.

At the time I looked for it, it wasn't that clear at all. Maybe it has been enhanced, but there were so many different types of cognomen and some things you do only count towards certain types of cognomen and not others.

Yeah, if you can look up specific cognomen in the encyclopedia and it will tell you everything that contributes towards you earning that cognomen. If you hover the cursor on your current cognomen it will give the breakdown of points you have that got you that cognomen.

You can get your up-to-date count for all stats that can be scored in the Timeline by hovering your current Leader. It displays your current cognomen and it doesn't display the calculated score, but the stats count evolves in real time (or at least turn by turn).
