Adding new music to the game?

I've got some CDs by Craig Chaquico that sound identical to the "StarsFull.mp3" file from the Modern Age. And I've got a lot of other music I wouldn't mind adding to the other ages.

Is there an easy way to change the play list for each era? Add songs to it, that sort of thing?

I don't know if you can add music, but you can change the music there. Find your music folder, and simply copy the music you want to use into that directory. You'll need to change the names of the files you're importing, too. I believe that only MP3s are allowed, but I'm not sure.

It's probably easier to just create a playlist in WinAmp or WMP and turn the Civ music off.

@Turner,I've been away from civ music for half a year,I always have CDs and other stuff to listen when playing Civ.I can't even remember what the Civ music is.

Exactly. I turned off the civ music about a month after I got it (what, 3 years ago now?) I just run WinAmp and my favorite music. Blasting cities with arties is so much fun when listening to Megadeth or something.
