Hello all,
I was recently toying with a few things trying to have some fun with maps. First I was messing around with the Europe map and had spent a few hours tweaking resources, terrain, and civ start locations when I realized that instead of the Persians I should have included the Arabians as the easternmost civ. (I thought Perseopolis was in modern day Iraq and not Iran). So I set forth to make the necessary changes, but the problem is I cannot replace the Persians. I don't see any option in the worldbuilder and whenever I try to start the map with different civs I cannot because it automatically loads the ones I started with!
Is there anything I can do to not lose these hours of work?
Also, how would I do this in the Earth 18 Civ map? Some of those civs just need to be removed in Europe as it is simply TOO crowded.
Is there a reference guide I'm missing or is this something that hasn't been asked before?
Let me know because I'd really like to make some changes to my favorite maps to make them more "earthlike" (don't worry though... I always keep the original since I always will recognize the labor and effort put in by the excellent game and map designers here and at Firaxis.
