Adjacency bonus over time

So, I'm slowly getting into CIV 6 (thanks to the Environment Skin mod, which changes the corny, oversaturated terrain with something more realistic) and have a question about adjacency bonuses.

Let's say I build Wonder A, and then build a Theater Square next to it. Wonder A provides +2 culture to the Theater Square as an adjacency bonus. However, if I were to place Wonder B next to the Theater Square, does the Theater Square automatically bump up to +4 culture, or does it stay at +2? Do I need to rebuild the Theater Square every time I build an adjacent wonder next to it, in order for the culture bonuses to stack?

It adjusts automatically you just won't get the era score for it. In order to get that the high adj has to be immediate.

You can't rebuild districts. Once build it's there till the end of the game, unless the city is razed.

It also works the other way around: if you initially got adjacency from double forest, but then remove one of the forest tiles, you will lose an adjacency point.

I can most definitely rebuild districts, but I'm playing with mods. Is rebuilding districts not something that is in the vanilla game?

Whoops. I just realized I have the REMOVABLE DISTRICTS mod lol.

Ok then, well like the others said it will update automaticly. But you won't get the one-time era scores for high adjacency that way.

I'd assume so but haven't checked for sure. If I do build a neighborhood I usually just avoid stuff that messes with that tile's appeal. I'd be curious to find out the answer for sure. Might check my current game to see if there are any good spots to experiment.

I assume it will work but planting trees is an easy way to check.
