After exiting game display font size is smallerr

I can play the game just fine but when i quit the game to dexktop it's resizing the font on my desktop so that it's damn small is there any way to fix this short of reinstaling my cards drivers?

The video card i have is ati 9600 all in wonder it's driving me nuts.

That is kinda whacky.

From a clean desktop with the right fonts and rez, run a dxdiag and post the file here please.
