[List] Civ 7 Mods that make the game and UI more understandable (especially for a new player)

Cool, Thx, i may add those on CivMods until they're released on Steam i didn't want to go through checking compatibility so i just deleted them all as i new anything on Steam should be updated
Founder lens isn't really needed so long as you have map tacks.
Discovery lens i was using but i read they added something similar in this patch so wanted to check it out before i put it back on.

Happy to report F1rstdan's is working perfectly. Claimed wonders isn't causing problems so far but no one has built a wonder yet so I can't check. Transparent appeal causes no problems and gives a pretty fun psychedelic view when a settler is selected. It's not doing exactly what it's supposed to but I'm not complaining. The transparency is still appreciated.

I feel like a complete noob, but I’m still using CivMods because I can’t get the Steam Workshop to work. I’ve Subscribed to a couple mods on it, but they don’t show up on my mod list in the game.

They also don’t show up in the mod folder either.

I’ve also switched back to CivMods for now, the workshop doesn’t seem to be working fully right yet.

I think they go somewhere else, which might be why they don't show up in the list. As far as I can tell my workshop mods and regular ones are working, but I'm only like 30 turns into a game because life keeps happening. I should turn that legacy path off.

@protocol7 what are you experiencing?

If you install the better mods page it will show which mods are managed by Steam.
Also with better mod page, I found out that one of the mods I subscribed to was actually disabled by default... had to activate it in the mod page for it to become active... but that was only 1 mod out of of a dozen, so....

Initially i deleted CivMods without first deleting the mods prior to Installing them on Steam workshop so when i went into mod manager all the ones from CivMods were disabled, i ended up reinstalling CivMods so i could delete those then uninstall it again.

Still using CivMods because a bunch of mods haven't migrated over yet, and I've been playing with them for so long that the game feels unplayable without them.

What I've been doing is deleting them from CivMods as they come online in workshop. You can run both, you just have to disable or delete the ones that break the game with the new patch, just like any other patch. Don't try to run the same mod in both though.

I have the same problem someone else mentioned, that subscribed mods don't show up in the mod list in game.

Tried the better mods page mod?

We put a mod in your mod so you can mod while you mod!
