Amen to that. We spent 2 weeks in Social Studies this semester doing a unit on political philosophies and by the end of it our classroom was a regular spawning ground for every student drone turned left-wind lunatic in the class. They'd had two weeks of fairly light education, seen an ideology they liked at surface level and run with it - no thinking required.

Well, from the way I noticed it, it looks like people generally become less liberal over time. Of course, this is a miniscule "study" of sorts, so it could very well be inaccurate (and probably is)...

Seeing how this is far from a random sample, the responses would not qualify as valid. But your idea is interesting and taking random samples isn't the easiest thing in the world to do

What's your hypothesis? Personal ideals change with age? Or is it that ideals change over generations? Or something else?

Double Posts are caused by three things:
1) Server Glitches

Except for the spamming, the rest are unavoidable.

I just think people's ideals change through reality. If everyone was as honest as they were when they were 12 years old, I think communism could actually work (not that I'd want it to )
