Age of Ice - Can not build Mammoth Riders

I have the ivory resource with a mammoth camp connected by road within my borders but the ivory resource is not showing on any city screen or the trade screen. The Doviello empire should also have ivory available but resource is also not showing up for them.

Anyone else seen this issue or know how to fix it?

He said that he doesnt get the ivory resource. And i dont think that he is that stupid to forget to research the tech first and build stables.


Make sure the ivory camp is within your bordors and the road is not interrupted by enemy territory or enemy units.

I used the mammoth to create the resource in the grassland 2 tiles north of the starting city, built a mammoth camp and it is connected by road to all my cities and also have a city adjacent in the tile north east of it. I also have stables built in several cities.

I have just completed researching the tech on this turn which is when I noticed the ivory is not showing as available. The mammoth rider icon in city construction is dark and says I need ivory to build it.

Since no one else has seen this problem, There might be something I did earlier in the game like trading the resource away. I am at work now so I will verify that when I get home.

Thats what it was, I had traded the resource to the Doviello at some point. Thanks for the help.
