Im sure there have been other threads on this so far, but I was just playing a game on Emperor, and by the time I reached the Middle Ages, four different AI civs (America, Aztecs, Russia, Egypt) had at one point declared war on me. It wasn't much more than an irritation each time, but it makes me wonder if it is even possible to play a peaceful game anymore. Don't get me wrong, I like going to war and smashing the AI, but a few warriors or archers popping up to attack my fringe cities every now and then just gets annoying, especially when I make peace and then they just declare war again a few turns later.
