Is there a way to get the AI to be more aggressive, but only toward other AIs? I've been playing on Continents lately, and what I like to do is unify my continent under my rule (possibly with one vassal) before invading the other. It's very rare for the AI to attempt this, however, so the other continent tends to be filled with three "meh" worthy pushovers.

In general, the AI really doesn't seem to get into empire building. When they declare war, the wars are typically short... maybe a city or two change hands and peace is agreed upon. Big whoop. Even turning on Aggressive AI doesn't fix this; wars are more likely, but the AI still is never imperialist enough to keep up with me, which is a shame, because I'd really enjoy a good, balanced, late-game war between two mighty empires.

On the other hand, it's annoying when the AI picks on me (rare, but it happens), especially when I'm trying to build up a little before attacking. So simply raising aggressiveness in general wouldn't be that great a thing. Hence the question: is it possible to make the AI moderately aggressive against the player, but very aggressive to other non-allied AIs? Like, put Bannor and Sheim on the same continent... one of them is going to either be eliminated or a vassal by turn 350, none of this border skirmish silliness.

I bet this is going to be worked on during the Ice stage. Otherwise though, I have no idea.

You should play Fall Further, and choose Chislev as one of yours enemies. They have everything what you want :) They are really aggresiv AI with tendency to not ending war before their opponent is still alive. In one of my game they destroyed all civilizations on their continent. Cualli and Archos are pretty strong and aggresive too.

This seems weird, but after many games, I find that "Random Personalities" causes crazy war. Perhaps it has to do with base code civ placement getting messed with.

And, of course, "Aggressive AI".

yea but you have the chance of all AI being Cardith's personality don't you?

The Archos are my personal nemesis - I love the battles that break out in any game that I start near them.
